Williston, ND | This project constructed in two phases expanded the existing Williston Public Work Complex on an occupied site. The first phase provided for a new fuel island for City of Williston vehicles, construction of a new sand/salt storage building, and demolition of existing structures to allow for rough grading of the new Public Works Facility. The second phase provided for construction of a new 93,174 SF facility and remaining site development of the 6 acre site. Features of the building included administration offices, engineering offices, lockers rooms, lunch room, maintenance shop, parts storage, welding bay, and vehicle storage facility. Structural systems for the building included exterior precast walls at the vehicle maintenance and storage areas and structural steel post and beam construction for the administration and support areas. The vehicle storage and maintenance areas heated with in floor hydronic heat and include a overhead bridge crane and a vehicle lift.
