Chinle Sports Complex - Arena and Recreation Center

This exciting project for the Chinle Unified School District on the Navajo Nation consists of a 120,000 square foot multi-use arena with seating for 6,000 for basketball games, as well as two practice courts and three volleyball courts.  The arena can also accommodate concerts or other cultural entertainment.  The separate Recreation Center is a 33,000 square foot facility with a 50 meter Olympic swimming pool, a 1M diving board, a 30’ x 33’ learning pool, a group exercise room, cardiovascular exercise and weight rooms.  Classrooms and locker rooms are also a part of the new recreation center.
The entire project cost of just over $33 million, was separated into four phases, each with its own Guaranteed Maximum Price.
