Tribal Affairs Building and Council Chambers
Ignacio, CO

This new two-story Tribal Affairs Building and Tribal Council Chambers is on land within the Southern Ute Indian Tribe Reservation in Ignacio, Colorado.  Site work included road relocation, asphalt and concrete paving, installation of storm water drainage system, utility construction and relocation, as well as regrading and re-landscaping of Veterans Park. Installation of new parking areas, paved sidewalks and site lighting was also a part of this contract.   The building is constructed of two parts connected by a breezeway.  The Council Chambers is a round, cast-in-place concrete structure with stone veneer and a domed concrete roof. The Tribal Affairs Building is a steel structure with a stucco exterior, extensive aluminum storefront, and high-end office finishes.  This building houses all administrative offices for the Tribe.
