Growth Fund Office Building
Ignacio, CO

This new 52,000 square foot office building was constructed for the Tierra Group, a real estate division of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe.  Unusual features of the building include a three-story atrium that reaches from the front of the building to the rear, and emphasizes the harmonious use of natural light and several different types of building materials.  Stone panels, glass and stained concrete flooring make up the multitude of materials that flow smoothly around the stainless steel staircase.  Several interior glazing panels feature designer etched glass, which compliments the cherry wood doors and trim throughout.  The exterior of the building is comprised of Alucobond (metal-clad panels), glazing and ground face masonry with accent bands.  There is a circular entry plaza and garden area that provides stone seat walls along with picnic tables for relaxation.  The site is landscaped with native plantings and grasses and fits in beautifully with its surroundings.
