Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery
Grand Junction, CO

This project for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs consists of a 20+ acre cemetery including pre-cast concrete burial crypts, columbariums, an irrigation stream corridor, a new 5,050 square foot Administration Building, Committal Service Shelter and Pump House. The buildings are wood-framed and CMU structures on spread footing foundations with heavy timber framed roofs. The extensive irrigation system is controlled by computer link to a remote weather station. This project was completed in 2002 for just over $5 million.
