Phoenix Fire Station No. 61

Fire Station No. 61 is was completed in February 2008 and is located on Indian School Road and 20th Street in Phoenix. The structure is masonry and ICF, structural steel and SIPS roof construction. The 10,500 square-foot, 3-bay station has a public entry and lobby, dining room / kitchen, dayroom, exercise room, library, captain dorms, dorm rooms, men’s and women’s lockers and restrooms, turnout room, radio room, SCBA and EMS rooms and a laundry room. Bi-fold metal doors were installed at the apparatus bays and the HVAC system was comprised of (5) 14 seer AC units and Evaporative cooling was used at the apparatus bays. This project also has voice and data throughout and an alert monitoring system.
