Longmont Fire Station #5

This new fire station built for the City of Longmont is a single-story, three-bay facility that includes a community room and firefighter sleeping quarters.  The frame is structural steel with masonry veneer, aluminum clad windows and standing seam metal roof.  On an extremely small site within a retail shopping development, FCI had to maintain access to other businesses while still making provisions for timely deliveries and safety of the retail patrons.  FCI self-performed much of the work, and the building was completed in ten months.
