Gilbert Battalion Fire Station No. 3 is a 15,369 square-foot, 5-bay battalion station that has a public entry and lobby, dining room, kitchen, dayroom, exercise room, library, battalion chief living quarters, captain dorms, 12 dorm rooms, men’s and women’s lockers and restrooms, turnout room and a Police Office. Bi-fold metal doors were installed at the apparatus bays and the HVAC system was comprised of seven (14) seer AC units and Evaporative cooling was used at the apparatus bays. The telecommunications system installed works in conjunction with the Mesa Fire Department and FCI purchased the dispatch and radio system for installation by Mesa Fire. This project also has voice and data throughout and an alert monitoring system.
