Adams County Service Center and Sheriff's Substation

The scope of this new two story, 95,000 sf Service Center and the adjacent 3,000 sf support building included extensive security and detention systems.  The masonry and steel structured main building was built on a spread footing foundation on top of imported fill.  The project included widespread glazing and storefront entries.  The Service Center is home to the Adams County Sheriff’s Department Headquarters, the Women in Crisis Center and the Motor Vehicle Department.  It was necessary for FCI to coordinate the installation of Owner-provided health care equipment for the Tri-County Health Services also housed in this building.
