Sunrise Elementary School
Cheyenne, WY 

This new elementary school in Cheyenne was the first of several new facilities built by this District beginning in 2006. The nearly 48,000 SF building features extensive daylighting and an acoustically-beneficial structural decking system to help improve students’ learning environments. The site consists of a 3.3 acre multipurpose field, softball field and playground. Wireless internet access is available throughout the building, and ceiling mounted projectors work in conjunction with the Smart Boards for visual display and use, with the ability to transfer information to/from board to the building-integrated intranet.
