Silver Creek High School
Longmont, CO
This exciting new high school on the west side of Longmont was completed for the 2001 school year. The steel and masonry structure was built on a caisson and grade beam foundation. The project also includes extensive site work to accommodate the athletic fields on 50 acres. The building features a large auditorium, two gymnasiums, several computer and technology labs, a full kitchen and classroom wings spiraling around the administration core. A concessions building was added near the end of the project by change order. Colorado Construction Magazine awarded Silver Creek High School the Bronze Hard Hat for Best Overall Project of 2001.
