Red Hill Elementary School
Gypsum, CO

This new elementary school, built for the Eagle County School District, is one of two projects FCI built for the District in 2000-2001. This new 62,100 square foot elementary consists of a steel and masonry structure on spread footings, with brick, block, metal panels and stucco skin.  The roofs are flat EPDM and pitched metal.  The interior features skylights and large windows to take advantage of the beautiful scenery and sunshine of this mountainous area of Colorado.  The Owner chose to add the masonry subcontract to the project as a change order after bid day.
