Mead High School
Mead, CO 

The newest high school in the St. Vrain Valley School District, the new Mead High School is 161,000 SF of academic learning and student gathering space. The building features an auditorium, two gymnasiums, a cafeteria, library and administrative areas in the core with two classroom wings, both single- and two-story. The site development for the 64 acres includes football, soccer and baseball/softball fields and a running track. The structure is CMU and structural steel with bar joists and metal deck, with veneers of masonry and metal wall panels. The building boasts high levels of daylighting and is designed to be energy-efficient.
