Borick Hall of Business
Gunnison, CO 

The new Borick Hall of Business at Western State College brings anticipated new spaces to a bustling campus. The first LEED® Silver Certified building in the Gunnison Valley is an academic center, housing the Business, Accounting and Economics departments for the College. The building automation system ensures proper heating, cooling, and ventilation based upon ambient tempuratures and carbon dioxide levels, and natural light fills every space. The roofing consists of recycled roof tiles that were salvaged from another building on campus and reused. The building was made possible by the private donations of Steven Borick and other WSC alumni in a fundraising effort that the College completed in just 18 months! This is the fifteenth project FCI has built at the Western State College campus.
