Grand Junction Gastroenterology & Endoscopy Center
Grand Junction, CO
This new medical office building was completed in November of 2004 for a cost of $2.5 million. The building is unique in that the poor condition of the soil dictated that a raft slab foundation be used. The slab’s concrete is 15” in the center and 36” on the perimeter. The remainder of the structure is steel with a masonry veneer, and the entire front entry is an aluminum curtain wall. The Gastroenterology Center includes several procedure rooms, preparatory rooms, recovery quarters, exam rooms and offices.
