Senior Estimator, Grand Junction Office – A Senior Preconstruction Estimator with 8 to 10 years experience. Requires a self-managing individual with strong conceptual and hard bid estimating abilities in projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million. Skill set should include proficiency with software packages such as Microsoft Office and Timberline Estimating, as well as outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

Project Engineers – Based in the field or in the office, FCI’s engineers assist project managers and superintendents in administrative duties as well as field-based tasks such as building layout, safety inspections, and crew management. Office engineers typically are assigned to as many as four projects at one time. Field engineers are dedicated to their project, on-site, through completion. College degree in Construction Management or Engineering desired.
Project Managers - Our Project Managers typically handle 2-3 projects at one time with a total volume of $5 to $50 million depending on the project type and complexity. They are our primary point of contact with the Owner and Architect for each project. Ideal candidates will have a college degree and 5+ years of experience in commercial construction.
Superintendents - Our project Superintendents are typically assigned to one project at a time and are fully responsible for all on-site operations and safety. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of commercial construction experience. College degree desired, but work experience will be considered.
Estimators - If you are an estimator with 3 or more years of commercial estimating experience, we want to hear from you. Our estimators are given full responsibility to estimate projects from $2 to $50 million including takeoffs, subcontractor solicitation, contracting, and buyout. Hard Bid, CM/GC and Design Build experience a plus. College degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
