Estimator – FCI Constructors’ Phoenix office is seeking experienced construction management professionals for Pre-Construction Estimating positions.  Minimum 3 years construction estimating experience preferred.  Responsibilities include: interpretation of project documents from conceptual design through construction documents, quantity take-off, preliminary budgeting, value analysis, subcontractor solicitation, development of bid forms, scope sheets and subcontract documents, communication with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain accurate pricing information, sub/supplier database maintenance, sub/supplier networking events, document distribution, working with clients and designers to establish project parameters, and  assisting other procurement team members.  Experience with Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, Design-Build and JOC is required.  The candidate must possess exceptional organizational skills and a strong history with Microsoft Excel and OST.  History with SmartBidNet and EarthWorks is helpful. Superintendent – FCI Constructors’ Phoenix office is seeking experienced Construction Superintendents! BIM Engineer – The BIM Engineer will work alongside the construction project team to deliver the 3D coordination process on multiple projects from concept to completion.  In-depth 3D analysis of building systems and components is necessary to ensure their fit within the project design.
The BIM Engineer provides: constructability review, 3D coordination, clash resolution, assist in all phases of a project – working with design and construction professionals.
Core competencies:  Understanding of building construction and sequencing, basic knowledge of structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and architectural systems, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks and related software, collaborative with both internal and external team, generation of 3D views, drawings and visualizations, lift drawings and clash resolution, basic knowledge of local building code, laser scanning, generation of point files, conversion of 2D drawings to 3D models, and delivery of BIM as-builts.
Requirements:  BS in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture or 2 yrs of field experience.  Familiarity with Autodesk Revit Suite, ProLog Manager, Primavera Project Planner or similar software.

Field & Office Engineering Positions: FCI Constructors, Inc is seeking construction management graduates for immediate full time Field and Office Engineering positions out of our Grand Junction and North Dakota locations.  We offer competitive pay and great benefits as well as a dynamic and challenging workplace.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Review drawings for compliance.
  • Prepare  submittal registry draft for review by the Project Manager.
  • Distribute reviewed submittals.
  • Prepare report and correspondence regarding submittals, RFI’s change orders, etc. for review by Project Manager.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the project schedule.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS in Construction Management or a minimum of 2 years experience in construction supervisory work as a foreman or lead man.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites software.
  • Working knowledge of Primavera Project Planner or equivalent scheduling software.
  • Working knowledge of Prolog Manager or equivalent construction management software.
